Stephanie Luczak, LMSW

Stephanie Luczak is a Policy Fellow who holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Stephanie primarily focuses on the issue areas of early care and education and child welfare. Stephanie interned with Voices during the 2017-18 school year during her final year of the MSW program. During her first year of the MSW program, she completed an internship with the State Office of the Child Advocate. Stephanie previously worked with DataHaven to help author the 2017 Report on the Status of Women and Girls in Eastern Connecticut, and also conducted policy research with a professor while at UConn. As a first-generation college student, she also holds a B.A. from UConn in both Political Science and Communications, and first started working as a paraprofessional at a therapeutic day school and was also an in-home care aide. Stephanie was born and raised in New Britain, Connecticut and is passionate about achieving sustainable equity for children from all socioeconomic and racial backgrounds.
